Twisted Hate by Ana Huang - They hate each other as much as they want each other❤️🤍🥵

Rating: 4/5⭐

✨ A Soft Glimpse

An enemies-to-lovers romance packed with tension, banter, chemistry, and two people who spent so much time pretending to hate each other that they completely missed the fact they were falling in love.

🌸 My Thoughts...

If a book has both the enemies-to-lovers trope and the best friend's brother trope, I immediately know I'm going to devour it—no questions asked.

And that's exactly what this book was for me.

The first time I read it, I remember fanning my face and giggling through the pages because the tension was absolutely INSANE.

This book practically screamed:

"I hate you, but I can't stop wanting you."

And honestly?

That's exactly what I want from a good enemies-to-lovers romance.

They were constantly at each other's throats, arguing every chance they got, yet the tension between them kept building until it became impossible to ignore.

Ana Huang absolutely delivered.

💞 What Made Me Swoon

Josh Chen and Jules Ambrose are complete opposites, but somehow that's exactly why they work so perfectly together.

If you've read the previous books in the series, then you'll already know these two never miss an opportunity to argue.

Seriously.

They could turn breathing into a competition if they wanted to.

Josh is a doctor—charming, confident, fun-loving, and just the right amount of cocky.

But the moment Jules enters the picture?

His entire composure starts crumbling and I was absolutely living for it.

As fate would have it, they end up sharing the same workspace, forcing them into each other's orbit almost every day.

What starts as petty insults and constant bickering slowly transforms into something neither of them can deny.

And Josh?

Oh, this man was DOWN BAD.

The way he cared for her while pretending he couldn't stand her.

The way he looked after her when she wasn't feeling well.

The way he made food for her without making a big deal about it.

The way he became increasingly protective of her while still insisting they hated each other.

Sir.

Be serious.

Your hatred was literally sitting in the corner wondering where it all went.

And then he says:

"When I'm not with her, I wish she were there. When I am with her, I want that moment to last forever."

EXCUSE ME???

I was gone.

Completely gone.

🌹 Jules Ambrose, My Girl

Jules was the kind of FMC I couldn't help but admire.

She's ambitious, hardworking, fiercely independent, and refuses to let anyone stand in the way of her goals.

But underneath all that confidence is someone carrying her own struggles and insecurities her journey genuinely made me emotional.

There were moments where I wanted to hug her and moments where I wanted to stand up and cheer for her.

What I loved most was how Josh truly saw her.

Not just the version she presented to the world, but the real person underneath.

And in return, Jules slowly began seeing the man behind Josh's teasing, cocky exterior.

Watching them break down each other's walls felt so rewarding.

💔 What Stayed With Me

The tension.

THE TENSION.

The banter, the chemistry, the lingering glances, the moments where they were clearly obsessed with each other but refused to admit it.

It was everything I wanted from an enemies-to-lovers romance.

And as their relationship developed, it became impossible not to root for them.

Because underneath all the arguing and sarcasm was genuine care, understanding, and love.

🌙 A Final Thought

The ending broke my heart a little and somehow managed to put it back together at the same time.

The characters felt real.

Their growth felt earned.

And their love story felt incredibly satisfying to watch unfold.

The characters, the plot, the tension, the chemistry, the banter, the emotional moments, and yes—the spice too—everything landed exactly the way it was supposed to.

This book reminded me exactly why enemies-to-lovers remains one of my favorite tropes.

And honestly?

I absolutely loved every second of it.
