✨ A Soft Glimpse

A dark, obsessive romance packed with possessiveness, emotional vulnerability, dangerous attraction, and a biker mafia prince whose obsession absolutely needs to be scientifically studied.

🌸 My thoughts…

This book genuinely changed my brain chemistry once and for all because after reading this… I was NEVER the same.

And honestly?
The fact that this entire series kept getting progressively better with every single book had me ridiculously excited to keep reading.

I’m actually jealous of people who still get to experience this series for the first time.

Now listen…

A hot tattooed biker man who also happens to be a Russian mafia prince?
Yeah, that alone was enough for me to immediately start this book.

And did it disappoint?
Absolutely the fk not.

This story revolves around Jeremy Volkov—the leader of the Heathens and certified menace to society—and Cecily Knight, a psychology major who honestly stole my heart from the very beginning.

💞 What Made Me Swoon

JEREMY.
JEREMY.
JEREMY.

This man’s obsession genuinely needs to be studied in a laboratory because DOWN BAD doesn’t even begin to cover whatever this man felt for Cecily.

The funniest part?

My guy really thought he felt nothing for her while simultaneously stalking her every move like sir… be serious 😭

Talk about falling in love and not even realizing it yet.

But what made me love Jeremy wasn’t just his obsession—it was the way he constantly pushed Cecily to embrace her true self instead of hiding behind a facade.

The way he helped her explore her fantasies, the way he literally and figuratively slayed her demons for her, the way he was so fiercely possessive and protective over her…

Yeah. I was gone.

And don’t even get me started on the small gestures because somehow those hit even harder.

The man buying her favorite manga books?
Might as well have said I love you at that point.

And Cecily??
MY GIRL.

She’s fierce, independent, compassionate, understanding, and honestly the type of character you instantly love the second she appears on page.

I absolutely loved how she carried herself as the mother figure of her friend group while still having so much emotional depth underneath everything.

Her story was heartbreaking and empowering at the same time, and honestly? Jeremy’s was too.

What made them work so well together was how naturally she understood him.

The way she could see right through him without him even needing to explain anything, the way her attraction slowly evolved from something physical into something deeper and more meaningful… it was honestly beautiful to watch unfold.

And together?

Their chemistry was INSANE.

The tension, the obsession, the vulnerability underneath all the chaos… it all blended together so perfectly that I genuinely devoured this book.

💔 What Stayed With Me

The way Jeremy loved Cecily in the only way he knew how—intensely, obsessively, protectively, and with every part of himself even before he fully understood what he was feeling.

And honestly? The emotional vulnerability hidden underneath his possessiveness hit me harder than I expected.

🌙 A Small Wish

Honestly? Not much at all because I genuinely loved this book from beginning to end.

But I absolutely HAVE to give Landon his flowers because that man’s unhinged matchmaking skills throughout the book had me cackling 🤣

Every scene with him felt chaotic in the best way possible.

🌷 Final Page

This book was dark, addictive, emotional, spicy, obsessive, and completely impossible to put down.

The characters, the chemistry, the tension, the emotional depth, the writing—everything just WORKED for me.

An absolute 5-star read and one I would recommend immediately if you love obsessive MMCs, dark romance, and chemistry so intense it practically jumps off the page.
