Rating: 3/5⭐

🤍 Thank you

First and foremost I would like to thank the Author Denise hunter and Thomas Nelson Fiction for sending me the ARC copy of the book in return for an honest review truly grateful for it

✨ A Soft Glimpse

A gentle, faith-filled love story wrapped in small-town warmth—where healing, friendship, and quiet love bloom at just the right time.

🌸 My Heart Says…

If you’re in the mood for a clean Christian contemporary romance with wholesome, feel-good moments… this one might just be for you.

There’s something about small-town romances that always feels comforting to me—and this book carried that same warmth throughout. It follows two childhood best friends finding their way back to each other, slowly seeing each other in a new light after years.

And honestly? There was something so soft and easy about it.

💞 What Made Me Swoon

Tyson and Jenny are the kind of couple you can’t help but smile at.

Their dynamic felt so natural—rooted in years of friendship, comfort, and understanding. Watching their relationship evolve from something familiar into something deeper was genuinely heartwarming.

What made their story even more meaningful was how their love grew amidst past trauma and lingering fears. It wasn’t rushed—it felt like something that slowly unfolded, piece by piece, until it became undeniable.

Their love was soft, tender, and quietly powerful. The kind that feels like right person, right time.

And the little moments between them? So wholesome and comforting.

💔 What Stayed With Me

The emotional undercurrent of healing and faith stood out—how love can gently grow even when there’s pain in the past.

🌙 A Small Wish

That said, I did feel like something was missing in the overall plot. At times, the story felt a little stretched, and I found myself wishing for a bit more depth or tighter pacing.
