✨ A Soft Glimpse
A dark college romance filled with obsession, chaos, tension, unhinged energy, emotional vulnerability, and two characters who were absolutely made for each other.
🌸 My Heart Says...
Soo...
It just took her dumping pig blood on him for this man to become completely obsessed straight away?
Talk about love at first sight 😭
This book ruined me... true to its name.
There were so many moments where I wanted to laugh at Landon's ridiculous antics, and then there were moments where I genuinely wished I could jump into the book and punch him myself—especially after everything he pulled in the first three books.
But the second I finished this book?
Yeah...
Landon King became one of my favorite men in the entire Rinaverse.
And Mia Sokolov?
THE match.
One of the most badass FMCs in the Rinaverse and easily one of my favorites.
This book delivered, delivered, and then somehow kept delivering until the very last page and I was absolutely here for every second of it.
💞 What Made Me Swoon
This story revolves around Landon King, an insanely talented sculptor with the emotional stability of a live grenade, and Mia Sokolov, a college student with a serious green thumb who also happens to be a mafia princess.
The moment these two met?
All they wanted to do was ruin each other.
Instead, they ended up completely ruining themselves for each other.
And honestly?
Best outcome possible.
Landon King did not believe in love.
At least that's what he kept telling himself.
Because what do you mean this man learned sign language for her so she could communicate freely?
EXCUSE ME???The way "down bad" doesn't even begin to cover what this man felt.
Despite only knowing her for a short period of time, he literally couldn't look at anyone else.
Not a glance.
Not an ounce of interest.Nothing.
My man skipped attraction and went straight to obsession.
And the funniest part?
He kept talking about ruining her while simultaneously doing everything she loved.
Sir.
The "ruin her" plan was crying in the corner at that point. The way he paid attention to her, the way he constantly gravitated toward her, the way he made space for her in every aspect of his life without even realizing it...
“If loving someone means letting them go and wishing them happiness with someone else, then I don’t subscribe to that definition. But if love means protecting and wanting to take care of you till my dying day, then I love you more than anyone has ever loved another human being.”
Yeah.
I was gone.
What surprised me most was how much I ended up loving Landon.
Because I genuinely didn't think it would happen.
His chaotic energy, his humor, his unpredictability, his completely unhinged personality—it somehow all worked.
This man was chaos personified and wasn't even trying to hide it.
🌹 Mia Sokolov, My Beloved
Now let's talk about Mia. Because WOW.
I absolutely adored her. Honestly, it's hard not to. She is strong, resilient, fearless, stubborn, chaotic in her own way, and somehow still incredibly adorable.
Her story broke my heart at times, but it also made me admire her strength even more. Everything she endured only highlighted how powerful she truly was.
And what I loved most? She saw Landon for who he actually was not who people assumed he was not who others feared he was.
Him.
She saw through every layer and loved him anyway and unlike everyone else, she never tried to change him.
In fact, she accepted him exactly as he was.
That was one of my favorite aspects of their relationship.
Because their love wasn't about fixing each other.
It was about choosing each other.
💔 What Stayed With Me
The fact that underneath all the chaos, obsession, revenge plans, and unhinged behavior was a story about two people finding someone who truly understood them.
Someone who saw every broken piece and stayed anyway.
🌷 Final Page
I loved this book.
Actually scratch that.
I ADORED this book.
This was even a reread for me last month and somehow I loved it just as much the second time around.
The obsession, the chemistry, the banter, the chaos, the tension, the emotional moments, the vulnerability, the spice...
Everything worked.
Rina Kent keeps proving why she's one of my favorite authors because somehow she always delivers.
And Landon King?
I never thought I'd say this after the first three books...
But this man completely won me over.
