A latte like love by Michelle. C. Harris book Review - A cozy and cute romance that feels like a warm hug❤️☕💫

Rating : 3/5⭐

✨ A Soft Glimpse

A cozy, feel-good romance that finds you at just the right time—filled with soft moments,  emotional comfort, and a love that blooms when it’s least expected.

🌸 My thoughts…

Where do I even begin with this book?

There was a time when I was stuck in a really bad reading slump, and I wanted so badly to get out of it. That’s when I came across this book on Bookstagram—the cover drew me in instantly, and the description promised a cozy, cute romance that felt like exactly what I needed at the time.

And honestly, it delivered… in its own way.

I’m not going to say it was the best book I’ve ever read—but it definitely wasn’t the worst either. It was one of those reads that felt comforting, even if it wasn’t perfect.

💞 What I Loved

The characters were definitely the highlight for me. Audrey and Theo, both individually strong in their own ways, brought a lot of warmth to the story.

What I loved most was how safe they felt with each other almost instantly. Yes, it might sound a little cliché—but there was something really comforting about that connection. It felt like they found exactly what they needed in each other at the right moment.

“Love finds you when you least expect it”—and that’s exactly what their story felt like.

🌙 A Small Wish

That said, I did find myself wanting more from the plot. At times, it felt a bit rushed, and I couldn’t fully immerse myself in the story the way I wanted to.

There were also moments where I felt frustrated with certain character decisions—especially Audrey—which slightly took me out of the experience.

I truly believe this could have been a 5-star read for me if the pacing had been slower and the story more developed.

🌷 Final Page

Overall, this was a comforting and enjoyable read that helped me ease out of a reading slump. While it wasn’t perfect, it still had moments that stayed with me—especially the soft, safe love between Audrey and Theo.
